My name is Susan New and I live in Virginia with my husband, Sam. We have four children and thirteen grandchildren that we cherish.
In 2004 my dear sister lost her battle with breast cancer. In dealing with my own grief I saw how much my grandchildren that loved their Aunt Pat so much were hurting. They were to young to understand death. They didn't know why she left them.
I thought that if I could put it into a form that they might understand, they could began to heal. I found out much later that I too would be able to feel the sadness less and begin my own healing process.
It started with one little story of an angel named Pat Pat.
